Zainab Abedininasab is a registered psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience working with adults, both individually and with their families.
Her philosophy is as follows: if there are things that we recognize to be in need of change, we can work on the necessary changes. In contrast, for the matters in life which we cannot change, we need to have the patience to accept them. "Change" requires "courage", which I will help you to find. The acceptance of the fate is a quality which psychotherapy helps you to build it in yourself.
Her therapeutic approach is based on Cognitive Behavioral Counselling (CBT) and Logotherapy (Meaning therapy). This therapeutic approach helps many individuals with psychological disorders such as depression, anxiety, OCD, phobias, PTSD, and others. She love helping adults discover and develop healthy thoughts, so that they can feel greater positive emotions.
Zainab offers psychotherapeutic services for emotional, behavioral, and cognitive problems. She is a general member of The Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists (OACCPP). Her counselling and psychotherapy office provides on-line and face to face counselling and psychotherapy services for both English and Farsi speakers.

Follow up sessions
Once you received your main therapy sessions, you will be seen and monitored by the psychotherapist to make sure no relapse happened after the course of the therapy finished, specifically after you face new life challenges .
Major Depression for example, needs at least 15 weekly sessions followed by monthly follow up sessions for at least 6 month. the goal is to make the client independent from the therapist.
